School Musical

Every 2-3 years, pupils from 4th – 6th classes take part in our school musical which is a modern day version of a much loved and classic story or fairytale. After all the acting and dance auditions have taken place in January, the rehearsals begin in February. An art competition is held among the classes to design the show’s advertisement posters, tickets and programmes. Literally, it is all hands on deck. The 6th class boys help out with the props and are stagehands backstage. Our past productions which have been performed in the Moat Theatre in Naas town include ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and ‘Robin Hood’.
