Wellbeing in St. Corban’s
The Wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of all our activities in school in St Corbans and underpins all that we do. As well as our curricular areas of SPHE and PE that help develop our pupil’s wellbeing, in our classes you will find regular wellbeing activities such as mindfulness, gratitude practices, cooperative games, circle time, buddy and paired reading, friendship and positive relationship initiatives and activities. Fitness, healthy eating and safety are all promoted in school and classes. Respect for ourselves, for others and a positive sense of community are all part of our school’s culture. As well as our annual Friendship week in September, in May we celebrated a Wellbeing week with our Funky Feet day being a chance to celebrate and appreciate our creativity and unique personalities.
